The La Pine Rodeo Board, Members, Volunteers and La Pine Rodeo Queen Jenna Jacobsen have been working countless hours since last year's hugely successful rodeo to once again bring La Pine and the surrounding communities our 7th Annual Sanctioned Rodeo. We are sanctioned by the NPRA, PRO-WEST and ICA ASSOCIATIONS.

The rodeo will be held on Saturday, July 4^th, and Sunday, July 5^th. The time for both days is 1:00pm for the rodeo and 12:30pm both days for the Mutton Bustin' (a huge crowd favorite).

This year's rodeo events are:

• BAREBACK RIDING
• TEAM ROPING
• BARREL RACING
• STEER WRESTLING
• TIE-DOWN ROPING
• BREAK-A-WAY ROPING
• BULL RIDING

"The Buck Starts Here" in La Pine! Last year we had over 300 contestants and are expecting even more to enter this year's events.

The rodeo will be joined by several other events -- the High Lakes Car Show, the Quilt Show and Frontier Days at the midway, taking place in La Pine on the same weekend. This will mean more visitors to La Pine and the time to think about getting your tickets for the day of your choice is soon. The ticket prices are $10.00 General Admission, $8.00 for seniors and children 6-12. Children under 6 years old are FREE.

We're very proud to again have Hall of Fame Announcer Kedo Olsen (a GREAT crowd pleaser), the La Pine Rodeo Riders Drill Team and all the cowboys and cowgirls from all the Western States, Canada and other areas of the nation.
